On the 16th of March, a free online program Understanding and Supporting Children's Behaviour funded through the NSW Department of Education Sector Development Program, Dr Louise Porter and Sandi Phoenix as they share their extensive knowledge and experience around “Connections with Children".

On Tuesday the 7th of March from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, the NSW Minister for Education & Early Childhood Learning (the Hon Sarah Mitchell MLC) and the NSW Shadow Minister for Education & Early Childhood Learning (Prue Car MP) have agreed to engage in a free virtual town hall for NSW's future for children, parents, educators/teachers within the early childhood sector.

NAPCAN - Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect is offering free online and face-to-face workshops on Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention and Mandatory Reporting Workshop across Australia. 

World Read Aloud Day is celebrated on Wednesday, 01st February. For the first time ever, Scholastic is hosting a worldwide WRAD-A-THON for a series of live interactive read-aloud shows. It kicks off in Australia at 11 am with Australian author Matt Crosgrove, reading his latest picture book Alpaca Picnic Panic. 

The NSW Department Of Education has developed a free professional development course video for Educators on completing Transition To School statements. 

With Halloween, just a couple of days away here is a list of our free Printables and Activities that you can download for free to use with children on Monday 31st October to celebrate Halloween. Grandparents Day is held on the 30th of October 2022. It's a unique day to honour grandparents, grand-friends, family members, and other people who typically play the role of grandparents in their families or communities. It's a lovely moment to thank the family's elder members for everything they do.

Understanding and supporting children's behaviour has been funded through the NSW Department of Education's Sector Development Program. This program will consist of six live webinars plus follow-up Q&A webinars with Dr Louise Porter and Sandi Phoenix.

Early Learning Matters Week is on from the 17th to the 21st of October. The aim is to recognise the contribution the early childhood industry has on children's development and well-being and how important the role of early childhood educators are in their role of supporting and promoting learning to children.
