Celebrate Halloween With Free Printables And Activities For Toddlers and Preschoolers

With Halloween, just a couple of days away here is a list of our free Printables and Activities that you can download for free to use with children on Monday 31st October to celebrate Halloween. Haloween Theme printables include Pre Writing, Counting Numbers, Cutting Activities, Shapes Activities, Colours Activities, Colouring Pages and more! 

Halloween Tracing - Halloween Tracing helps the children in their development of prewriting skills by encouraging them to trace pictures. By tracing pictures children trace over different lines and shapes while creating the picture which will give them the confidence to write letters and numbers.

Witches Brew Bubble Counting - The Witches Brew Bubble Counting encourages children to identify the number on the cauldron and add the matching number of bubbles on top of the cauldron. These can be laminated and also used with play dough. This is great for children beginning to recognise numbers and also for counting and one-to-one correspondence.

Halloween Shadow Cards - The Halloween Shadow Cards encourage children to examine the different shapes of various objects and match them to their correct shadows. It helps children with visual memory and enables children to sort based on the similarity and differences of different objects.

Halloween I Spy - The Halloween I Spy is a great counting game for children, Children have to count the correct "scary" picture objects and write the correct amount next to the picture. These can be laminated and children can circle the objects as they count. Great to use as a Halloween activity.

Alphabet Witches Match - Alphabet Witches Match enables children to match the correct letter on the witch's hat to the correct witch. This activity supports children in recognising the letters of the alphabet, improves their concentration and memory as well as practices visual discrimination.

Spider Counting - Spider counting is a counting activity from 1 to 10 for children to match the correct number of spiders onto the plane. This activity is great for number recognition, for children learning their numbers, for one-to-one correspondence and more. 

Pumpkin Head Shapes - Pumpkin Head Shapes are a simple activity for children. Children have to choose the correct shape to add to the pumpkin to complete the pumpkin head face. 

Witches Brew Counting - Witches Brew Counting is a super fun activity that enables children to create their own witches' brew. Each child chooses a counting brew card and adds each ingredient to their witch's brew.

Monster Colouring Pages - Monster Colouring Pages enable children to create their own monsters. They can colour, collage, and paint a monster of their own.

Monster Cut and Paste - Monster Cut and Paste enable children to create their own monsters by cutting out the nose and mouth and sticking them onto the monster bodies. Children can practice their cutting skills by cutting out their noses and mouths. 

Monster Colour Match - Monster Colour Match is a simple and fun activity that enables children to choose the correct colour of the monster from the colour options given.  This is a great activity for colour recognition and for children learning colours. 

Monster Hair Cutting - Monster Hair Cutting is a simple activity that enables children to practice their cutting skills by cutting different types of lines of hair. Children can also colour in their monster before giving it a haircut! Great for Halloween. 

Halloween Colouring Pages - Halloween is on October 31st and to celebrate we have 8 Halloween colouring pages for children to use. These can be used as colouring pages or painted as part of Halloween craft experiences.

Halloween Gross Motor Movement Cards - Halloween Gross Motor Movement Cards are a great way to get children moving to enable children to use whole-body actions. Each action is simple to follow and movements are based on a Halloween theme. 

Halloween Songs and Rhymes Posters - The Halloween Songs and Rhymes Posters are great to display within the learning environment for Halloween! These are easy and catchy songs to teach children based on a Halloween theme. These songs include action and counting songs which can be used during group time or during transitions.
