The free Munch and Move eLearning program training contains videos, interactive activities and reflective practice questions which will provide you with the knowledge, skills and resources to embed healthy eating and physical activity into your service.
The training is broken up into modules and is self-paced (on average it takes approximately 3 hours) meaning it can be completed over multiple occasions at any time.
Once you have completed training and the feedback survey, you will receive a certificate of completion and your details will be provided to a Munch & Move Support Officer from your Local Health District. Your Support Officer will provide your service with program resources and ongoing support to implement Munch & Move in your service. For family day care, this support is provided at your service provider level. Service providers must be trained in Munch & Move to receive this support.
Training is offered free to early childhood educators and service leaders working in NSW long day care, preschool, occasional care and family day care services. Services who complete training have access to a range of Munch & Move resources and are supported by a Munch & Move Support Officer from their Local Health District to implement the Munch & Move program. For family day care, this support is provided to the service provider.
