This professional development video helps professionals complete and effectively employ the Transition to School statement to aid in the transition to school. It:
- explains the goal, significance, and function of the Transition to School Statement in promoting learning continuity and as a vehicle for cross-setting professional interactions.
- the Early Stage 1 curriculum's integration of the Early Years Learning Framework to support learning continuity.
- provides relevant, strengths-based information that may be utilised to enhance the continuity of learning and, as a result, a strong and successful start to school. This section looks at how to complete the statement.
