Cow Spot Counting is a simple activity that enables children to recognise the number and add the correct number spots on the cow. These encourage number recognition and one to one correspondence.

Cow Spot Counting can be used in a variety of ways. The spots included can be cut out and children can use these to add to the correct number to each cow, these can be laminated and used as playdough counting mats where children have to make their own playdough spots, spots can be finger painted on or even drawn on.

These letters enables children to begin to recognise the first letter of their name. These are great for preschool children who are learning to write their name and for letter recognition. 

By 27 September 2021, if you have been employed as a casual at your service for 12 months or more, you should be offered the option to convert to full time/or part time employment.

These posters provide easy information for children to understand the organs inside your body and how they work. It also provides a diagram of each organ and labels different parts. These posters are a great starting point for children to develop a curiosity of how their body works.

On Monday 13 September, Services Australia recorded a one-off $0 session of care for children enrolled at child care services in Greater Sydney. This is to ensure enrolments remain active during the extended lockdown.

Hunter Prelude is partnering with the NSW Department of Education to deliver the Creating Opportunities: Transition to School Professional Development Program.  Free training for Educators include: Writing Transition to School Statements, Guide to Formative and Summative Assessment, Positive Transition To School and more.
