From the 01 July 2016,  the Fair Work commission has announced a 2.4% increase to minimum wages. This will apply from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2016.

Whooping cough outbreaks have been on the rise across the country. Cases are up between of 100 to 300 percent across Australian states. 

To support the delivery of preschool programs for children in long day care centres, a $20 million fund has recently been announced for NSW.

A new QLD law may be introduced by January 2016 that enables childcare centres in Queensland to reject enrolments based on immunisation status.
