please help, i cannot find a definition of recognition recall anywhere i can find them for each word separately but not together

hi- to the best of my knowledge- " recognition recall" would mean Memory or a child's ability to recall ( memorise) information on a range of subjects/themes.
example, after having a group time on the seasons, asking the children over the week if they can remember the names and climates of the different seasons.
it also links to colours - does the child know the names of colours when presented with various objects? this is just a small idea on a big concept!
maybe if you research this way, it might be of help?
