ACECQA has developed National Quality Framework (NQF) professional development eLearning modules. The program consists of a series of four elearning modules, each of which cover a different aspect of the NQF which include: Introduction to the children's education and care sector, Overview of the NQF, Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, Approved learning frameworks V2.0.
These modules are designed as professional development tools specifically tailored for individuals in the children's education and care sector.

New Educators: The program introduces foundational concepts, helping those new to the field understand their responsibilities and the broader scope of their roles.

Current Educators: The modules also serve as a resource to reinforce or expand the knowledge of experienced educators, ensuring they stay aligned with industry standards and best practices.
NQF Induction 1: Introduction to the children's education and care sector
This first module will provide you with foundational knowledge of the children's education and care sector and information on your role in supporting quality education and care to provide improved educational and developmental outcomes for children.
NQF Induction 2: Overview of the NQF
This module will provide you with an overview of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
It will:

develop your understanding of the establishment of the NQF for the children’s education and care sector, and
-
build your knowledge of the components of the NQF
NQF Induction 3: Law and Regulations
In this module we will explore the legislative frameworks for children’s education and care services. The national legislative framework consists of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
The objectives of this module are to:
- build on your understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- learn how to navigate key documents in the legislative framework.
NQF Induction 4: National Quality Standard
In this module, we will explore the purpose and structure of the National Quality Standard (NQS). The NQS includes 7 quality areas that are key to achieving positive outcomes for children.
The NQS is used to assess and rate the quality of children's education and care services.
Approved learning frameworks V2.0 - Induction module
In this module you will explore the approved learning frameworks (ALFs) v2.0, an integral part of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
If you are a new educator and teacher, this module will provide you with foundational knowledge of the approved learning frameworks and information on your role in developing a quality program for children and young people to support their learning, development, and wellbeing.
