Scenario: Maddison - 18 year Old Father

Scenario Maddison 13 months: is an only child. Her farther is 18 years old, was physically abused as a child, and has limited parenting skills. He slaps Maddison when she splashes water into the floor during bath time.

Identify 2 risk factors related to parent and/or child that may contribute to the risk of abuse or neglect?

Answer:
Father was physically abused as a child

He slaps Maddison

Father is under the age of 20 years
Father has limited parenting skills
