In regards to your question, the minimum qualification for a Director position is a Diploma qualification. In my opinion with experience it will be good if the candidate has had experiences working in the centre as a room leader (as they should know how to deal with parents etc. effectively) and a bonus if they have worked as an 2IC, assistant director. These are not necessary but it helps...

A 2IC is a second in charge/assistant Director/certified supervisor. Basically you take over the Directors duties and responsibilities when they are not at the center or they are away...
