Northern Territory Emergency Response Intervention

Research The Northern Territory 'Emergency Response' intervention enacted by the Australian government in 2007. Why was this intervention implemented? List at least five (5) ‘rights’ this intervention removed from Indigenous people. Compare this intervention The Aboriginals Protection and Restriction of the Sale of Opium Act, 1897. Identify and discuss any similarities between these two pieces of legislation.
