Hi all,
As Father's day is coming up, has anyone got any suggestions as to what 2 year olds can make for their dad's? I am not sure what to do as I am only new to childcare.
Thanks.

Plaster of Paris hand prints?

some good ideas here.
You could also do some cooking and make cookies to go along with the present.
My current centre are making little stress balls (balloon filled with playdough and then put another balloon over that one and pom-pom hair) and giving these along with a cute poem. The tods are decorating little paper ties.

What about cutting out a saw shape (adults do that part) and the children painting it - any way that works for you - you could then attach a note that says 'To the Best Dad I Ever Saw'. I did this one year and the kids/dads loved them.
Making a paperweight or pencil holder always seem popular.

How about this idea.... It's cute and easy for a 2 year old to do with a little help from you!
