Hi there
You could learn some Hindu words and incorporate these into your day to day activities (hello, goodbye, thank you etc)
Also you could celebrate Diwali, which, as I Understand it, is known as the the festival of lights (good triumphs over evil). There are crafts you could do for this such as paper lanterns.

However, something to be aware of, is not to be tokenistic with multiculturalism. The EYLF - under outcome 2 says the following:
OUTCOME 2:
CHILDREN ARE CONNECTED WITH AND
CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR WORLD

Educators promote this learning,

plan experiences and provide resources

that broaden children’s perspectives and
encourage appreciation of diversity
expose children to different languages and

dialects and encourage appreciation of
linguistic diversity
enc

promote respect for diversity and value
distinctiveness
explore the culture, heritage, backgrounds

and traditions of each child within the
context of their community

so we need to make sure multiculturalism is part of our every day happenings and not a one off experience in the centre.

Hope this helps
CAthiek

For Hindu experiences you could also do:

Kolam - comprised of dots and patterns. It is a decorative design drawn in front of the house. It's popular in southern India.

Mehendi - temporary form of skin decoration (you may be unable to apply it directly on the child, however you can cut paper out in the shape of their hands and get the children to apply patterns to the cut outs.
