Suggest at least two activities that would promote the cross-cultural awareness of children from each of the following backgrounds
Hindu, Mexican, Aboriginal Australian and Central African . Just need help with Hindu????
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
This is what I answered so far
Mexican
Piñata out of paper bags – The children learn how to be creative by decorating the bags and once done and the bags are filled the children learn to share what they have made with others.
Sun catchers Piñatas- This activity will help with the fine motor skills and the children learn about colours.
Aboriginal Australian
Spraying of the hands- The children learn to use their fine motor. This activity the children get to use spray bottles and their hands. The children spray paint on their hands which are placed on a piece of paper.
Animal Game-This game will encourage children to think of what animals live in Australia; promote movement, creativity and psychosocial skills. The children are given a card with the animal on it and they have to act out what that animal would sound like and move in the bush.
Central African
Animal Masks- The children get to use their imagination in decorating their mask and able to role play by being the different types of animals that is in the wild.
