Q. One of the school aged children comes to your service for after school care. He can't wait to tell the educator about his weekend when he met one of his hero football player from the Parramatta Eels, after the game. He proudly shows you photos of the two of them together and an autographed jersey. The other children are all very impressed and start talking their football heroes .
Q. Joe is 4 years old and is overweight for his age. He loves action figures and super heroes. Whenever he has the opportunity he wears his superman or batman cape.
Q. The children during group time become interested in a conversation about sports and the Olympic games.
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Ans1. During outdoor play time I will organised football game for the children. I will divide the children in two groups and give then instruction about the game rules.
Ans2. I will create role play experience, where Joe and other children wear superheroes costumes and introduced themselves as a superheroes.
Ans3. I will start my conversation about sport and Olympic games and ask open ended question regarding sports. I will show the children Olympic related pictures and videos. During play time I will organise experiences related to sports and Olympic games.

Maybe for the second one also organizing physical sporty activities where you have to dress as your favorite superhero and complete certain physical tasks?
