Make a hard egg bounce by adding it to a cup of vinegar. This is a great STEAM experiment to try with children - make different colour "egg balls" and watch how vinegar dissolves the hard shell to create a bouncy egg.
In this STEAM project, children will be creating a lemon volcano. These lemon-smelling volcanoes create bubbly small eruptions which you can make in your learning environment with some easily available items in the kitchen.
For all those Frozen fans and those who love to simply experiment here’s an interesting activity to do. We will be making our ice grow here. Grow what, ice? How is that possible? Same was my reaction and believe me even after having done it in front of my eyes I couldn’t believe it. So basically, we will be teaching these little geniuses what crystallisation is all about through this experiment. And I bet kids are going to love this and you will have to repeat this too. So better have a crate of icy cool water and a large tub to collect all the overflows. Be ready to get that chill run down your spine!
Magnetic bottles are a perfect science, sensory and calm down activity. As Educators, you would also love this because on one hand it's very easy to make and on the other, it has several benefits. Children are going to love these magnetic discovery bottles as they will be surprised to see the objects inside the bottle dance to the tunes of the magnet that they will be operating from the outside. Once you make it, seal the lid and store it on your shelf for using it over a period of time.
Here are some simple science experiments, using all the colours of the rainbow! Great way to teach primary and secondary colours through science!
Children will be excited to see how the colours transform overtime as the water moves from one glass to another.
