The Recognition As An ‘Equivalent Early Childhood Teacher’ transitional measure was reviewed by the ACECQA Board, which has decided to extend this measure until the end of 2027. As of 16th August 2024, the professional development (PD) requirements for NSW accredited teachers has changed to reduce unnecessary burden on teachers maintaining their professional knowledge and practice.
