Hi, what is the hourly wage starting full time work after working as a casual for 2 years? I have a certificate 3 in childcare.

Have you had your cert 3 for those 2 years as well?

The levels are based on years of service. So, if you have had your cert 3 for 2 years you would probably be on level 3.2. - $25/62/per hour.

Can you tell me when you received your cert 3 and started working with your cert 3?

Hi Lorina,

I received my level 3 in 2016 worked 1year in 2017 as a casual educator.
Worked as a nanny for 1 year in 2018.
And worked as casual from Feb 2021.

Also, I had an earlier certificate 3 in childcare back in 1998 or could be earlier and did casual work at different centres back than, but change careers. Now back working as a casual hoping to get permanent hours.
