Ensuring Families and Educators Have Access To Immunisations Recommendations

Post by crazybecca86 » Mon Sep 18, 2017 6:47 pm

Question 8

How does the service ensure that families and educators have access to current immunisation recommendations for both adults and children?
What is the services procedure to ensure that each child’s immunisation status records are updated and current?

I got

A copy of the staff immunization record must be held at the centre and updated when necessary

A photo copy of the child’s immunisation record will be retained with the child’s enrolment records.

Immunisation information will also be entered in relevant goodstart system

identify how the service ensures that families and educators have access to current recommendations and how they ensure that the records are updated and current?

thanks

You can get recommendations from here:

Immunisation Program Australia

For updated and current records, you will have to continually check individual records and ask families to update etc.
