HLTWHS001 Participate in Workplace Health and Safety

Include the following in your presentation:
a) What the hazard is: The Hazard is that the power cord for the centres CD player is starting to show wires.

b) What the risk is: The risk is that it could start a fire or someone or a child could get electrocuted if they touched it.

c) Who it might affect: The employees if they plug it in or unplug it or the children if they touch it while walking/crawling around.

d) How the risk can be managed: By turning the power point off and safety removing the cord, then either taking to a qualified repairer or getting a new one.

e) Relevant WHS policies and procedures:

f) Relevant WHS codes of practice and legislation: Managing electrical risks in the workplace Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Workplace Injury Management and Workers’ Compensation Regulation 2002.
Can some one please help me? im not sure on the answer for question E and im not sure if F is right? thanks!!

Yes you're on the right track with your response! In regards to e) it may be referring to the WHS policies of the centre...
