Thanks for any feedback, just wondering if i'm on the right track, if i am actually answering the question or totally missing the mark?

Consider the following articles from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and explain how educators could implement these articles in a child care environment.
Article 2 Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that the child is protected against all forms of discrimination or punishment on the basis of the status, activities, expressed opinions, or beliefs of the child's parents, legal guardians, or family members.

My answer:
As educators we could provide children with opportunities to raise their concerns about safety and in turn, listen to them and recognise (then respond to) signs of violence, neglect and abuse. By developing our understanding of risks and protective factors that contribute to children's safety, and improving our understanding of each child's family as well as relevant legislations for protecting children from violence, abuse and neglect, we can facilitate learning environments that foster opportunities for all children to express themselves.
We must also model respectful relationships and ensure support for children's connections with relevant local services that support safe environments for children.

You could also include that the centre has policies and procedures on child protection, anti -bias, confidentiality, privacy etc.

Thank you very much! I have a few questions similar to this and just wanted to make sure i was answering the actual question, not just babbling on.

As much as I respect confidentiality and anti-bias I always neglect to add it in my answers and more often then not is bang on the money, as it is again today so THANK YOU for for reminding me!! I need a little post it note to stick on the desk that says "Have you considered privacy concerns?" and look at it after every question! HaHa
