Leftover food given to children
Leftover food given to children
Is it acceptable to give children jelly that was made on a Thursday used on a Friday for afternoon tea, then the leftovers were again used on the following Monday afternoon after being left in the fridge over the weekend uncovered ?
Re: Leftover food
According to Australian Food Authority (for Childcare Centres):

Also, since the food was kept uncovered in the fridge then it should not have been given to the children as there may have been cross contamination... All foods need to be kept covered, labelled etc.
Hope this helps,

Re: Leftover food
All food should not be given, but here it is about jelly which can be put within the refrigeration with proper instruction given by the company(including days).
