Qualifications suspended

Post by kaykay1234 » Mon Oct 26, 2020 3:02 pm

Hi All,
Hope everyone is well and staying safe!

Wanted to ask for a favour and I totally understand if it isn’t possible.. the current company I am studying with has been cancelling and taking qualified certificates of people because they have been “helping others” in another forum.. as they are accusing them of plagiarism!! Can they do this ??

I was wondering if possible could you remove my questions / answers I’ve done under my account as I don’t want to lose my chance of obtaining my certificate in the future.

Thank you heaps!!

Hi kaykay1234

I assume your referring to students who are yet to complete a course?

If yes, it is possible as most education providers have conditions as part of academic integrity etc that students agree to when entering into a contract to study with said provider.

Their content such as worksheets, resources, lectures, notes etc are usually copyrighted so may not be for present or past students to share without permission. Any work you do must be your own.

Some of the rules on this forum address the above.
Having said that students around the world form study groups and education providers even host and encourage it so it is a tricky balance.

"has been cancelling and taking qualified certificates of people because they have been “helping others” in another forum"
Were the students informed of any rules broken? Was there formal investigations etc
Can you elaborate a bit more on what happened?

Education providers don't usually cancel a students place without very good reason.

If you haven't plagiarized or cheated you have nothing to worry about.
I recommend you read over the policies of the company you are studying at.

I'm not sure if it is possible to delete posts, accounts etc it has been asked a few times before but can't find any information.

In the meantime it may be wise to be careful online.
