Influencing The way You See & Interact With Children

Post by jessmid » Tue Aug 19, 2014 12:27 pm

I have this in my diploma class (planning for development) and i would like some advice in the best way of addressing this statement and if anyone knows of some articles that could also refer my answer to.
The statement is "The practitioner's belief system will influence the way they 'see' and interact with children."
Obviously i understand that this has an impact of how we as educators will interact with children because if we come from different cultural backgrounds we could have different opinions of how we interact with children and how we value them. I am really interested in finding an article that will allow me to back up my research and understanding if anyone has this at their disposal.

Thanks
