Hi im having trouble with a couple of scenarios and really could do with some help please so the scenario is jon decidtside this morning because it looked like it might rain. this is the 3rd time this week the toddlers have not played outside. the manager is aware that jon prefers to keep the toddlers inside because he finds it a hassle to get them organised with suncreen and hats.
so i was going to head down the path of work ethics. and about policy and procedures am i on the right track

Re: Scenario: Toddlers Not Playing Outside
Yes, I think it can be both... Toddlers need an opportunity to explore the natural and outdoor environment and being kept inside doesn't allow them to use this... Toddlers also need an opportunity for physical development activities and being outside enables them to run and jump etc.

Re: Scenario: Toddlers Not Playing Outside
thank you, going on from that scenario how could the manager use the core values of the organisation to assist jon to reflect on his behaviour.
i was going on the notion of an individual development plan and just reiteration the policies and procdures within the organisation is this right

Yes, I agree... Also reflect on the EYLF and what it states for children...
