Provide Emotional Support For Children

Post by mandy57 » Thu Apr 20, 2017 1:19 pm

Hi,

currently working on play and development, would like ideas on question how to provide help to support their emotional/psy development?

I have thought about this and my answer is by being warm and responsive, and listen and validate childs emotional experience , not sure if I am on the right track ?

Yes, you're on the right track...

Being empathetic
Listening
Providing comfort etc.
