Hi Reb,

I'm not quite sure if I understand your question. What kind of resources are you after? Do you need resources for games and activities or songs or teaching resources etc...

Do you need to include the above resources for each of the family types?

Hi Bec,

How’s it going? You definitely got a big task ahead of you regarding this assignment that’s for sure…

Now I’m not sure if you are going to print the resources out (which can go beyond an encyclopedia) or if you are just going to write some info about the resources you need. I don’t remember doing this assignment when doing my diploma, however I did have to come up with a whole lotta games and activities from birth to 5 years. They are definitely making you work hard for your diploma!

Here are a few links to some resources that I find, which you could use as part of your resource collection:

Link 1) http://www.cool-kids-craft-ideas.com/to ... ities.html
Link 2) http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/puzzles.html
Link 3) http://bussongs.com/

When working in childcare there is a big aspect on diversity and multiculturalism. So you should be able to include the Resources for all the above family types that you mentioned, rather than having separate resources for those specific family types. The only thing that I may do is get Posters and such that promote the culture of the families within the centre.

These may help give you a better idea:

Link 1) http://www.multiculturalaustralia.edu.a ... /index.php
Link 2) http://www.preschoolrainbow.org/multicultural.html

I really hope that you can build upon your collection of Resources 

Ask me if you need more help :D
