Creating A Work Plan

Post by Tanya2491 » Sat May 19, 2012 8:51 pm

Hi if any one can help it will be greatly appreciated!!!

I'm only four questions away from completing my diploma :)
However I'm stuck on this question..

Create a work plan for a new employee!

I understand a work plan offers guidance and a set procedure that contributes
To the care facilitys standards of service and ensures the developmental needs
are being met..

My problem is I'm not sure how the layout of a plan is and what is written in it
Is it the layout of the day?
Is it the new employees job description?
I'm absolutely lost and will appreciate any help!!

Looking forward to a reply :) xx

I think you need to ask your teacher the question.

For me it would point to the induction handbookd for new employees, but as you said it could also relate to a job description or layout of the day.

Hi
Thank you for replying..
I know it has to link to the induction and orientation plan. It did have a example where it listed objectives, strategies, a time for it then an actual outcome all these must link to each other. The example was daily observations , accurately observe children, weekly obs, to report findings fortnight due to lack of time.. I understand what they are trying to get at but it's the layout and what is included.. I honestly can not wait to get it out of the way and finish my diploma so over questions like these and trying to complete it with a four month baby boy wanting your attention more lol... I guess that's males for you lol anyways thank you for a response oppose to ignoring it :) take care
