Create colourful patterns from watercolour drips!

Challenging Behaviour is when a child does something that hurts themselves and/or other people.

We, human beings always want our traditions, fact, stories, and sacrifices that lie behind the national day to pass on to our next generation. It is also important as without knowing the root of the culture and tradition, children will not be able to love their country in adulthood. Knowing about ANZAC Day, the real stories, heroism, and sacrifices will not let the Australian culture be lost rather hand it over to the future generation and will continue in this way.

Turn mini baking soda volcanoes into works of art.

Remembering Soldiers Cut and Paste is an activity that enables children to commemorate soldiers by cutting and pasting poppies around each silhouette image.

This set can be laminated for longer lasting and used with playdough as well.

Working as a childcare professional can be a challenge especially when dealing with behavioural problems which may arise. The techniques we use when dealing with children's behaviour are obviously going to be different than those used by parents. Our aim is to provide the children with a positive atmosphere and establishing opportunities for recognizing and reinforcing appropriate behaviour.

Create paint using 2 ingredients salt and flour.

As Educators, there will be many instances where you will need to write about a child's behaviour. For a behaviour management plan, assessments, half-yearly or yearly reports and more. The following lists descriptive words and their meaning that can be used to describe a child's behaviour.

Poppy Counting Mats enables children to add the correct number of poppies corresponding to the number on each set by adding them into the grid. This helps children with identifying numbers, supports number recognition and one to one correspondence.

The poppies provided can be cut out and glued onto the grid and also laminated to reuse over again. This is a great activity for Remembrance Day.
