Placement length

Hi guys..
I'm starting the cert 3 tomorrow. I know I'll probably find this out then but just curious of how placements fit in with your study?
Do you do for example 2 weeks full time placement mon-fri then go back to study, then a further 2 weeks at the end of the course?

I have a friend who did it at a different place and did one day a week of placement for 6 months.. Throughout the course. Just wondering what the norm is?

How did you go on the first day?

It depends on where you are doing your qualification. Some work placements have a block period where you do it for 3 to 4 weeks at a time at the end of a semester, while others you do it for a couple of weeks.
