Re: CHCI301E interacting effectively with children
The choices you had given in your response don’t give the children encouragement within each of the scenarios.
For Brendan some choices can include:
- Asking him where he wants to sit.
- Who he wants to sit next to.
- Help to give out the bowls and spoons.
- Help to serve the food.
- After lunch he can continue what he is doing, before rest.
For Jessie some choices can include:
- Ask Jessie to assist you in the cooking activity.
- Giving her a few minutes to finish what she is doing.
- Helping her move to another area.
Hope this helps,
,
L.A

Re: CHCI301E - Scenario: Brendan & Jessie
Thanks L.A., that has helped me a lot. I was on information overload when I was doing this exercise. I don't think I was thinking straight whenI tried to answer this question.
