Hi Lorina,
I've got another task to answer and I feel like it is too broad to tackle. The introduction of my assignment though, stressed:
Supportive physical and social environments are important for the development of positive relationships and the building of a child's positive self-esteem.
And that was followed by a task to :
List (5) considerations Educators should make when organising the environment and resources in a manner which will reduce children's stress and frustration.
I thought of the following answers (not even complete) and not sure if they were right.
~ offer materials related to each child's special interest
~ introduce changes gradually rather than all at once
~ take into consideration the child's age
Can you please help?
Regards,
Nikki

Re: CHCECE007 - Minimising Children's Stress and Frustrations
Yes, you're on the right track with your responses...
You could also include:
- have a range of activities based on each child's skills and abilities (for example have 3, 4 and 5 piece puzzles available).
- have a number of the same activity not just 1 (for example have 4 magnetic boards for a small group of children to use).
- have activities that are easy to reach and easy to pack away (for example have photos on the shelf of where activities belong)
Hope this helps,
,
