CHC50113 - Provided Instructions And Additional Support

Post by roxy123 » Sat May 07, 2016 6:11 pm

This is also directed at educators in a childcare setting:

Give an example of when you have provided instruction and additional support to promote quality work and client outcomes?

As usual any reply extremely appreciated.

Could this be an example:

We had a speech therapy service come to the centre to assess the children. One child was "behind" in his language development compared to the rest of the children his age. We were fully aware of this and had provided parents with strategies we were implementing already within the room to work on with the child. When speaking to the speech therapist she was very happy to hear the strategies put in place already by us and continued to give us more tips we could use with the child. These were also given to the parents as we all worked together to support the child to continually develop his language skills.
