Your Question?
I need help with this scenario please.
.If a set of blocks are placed on a mat which has clear boundaries, most children will maintain the block play within the confines of the mat?


Why does this happen?
Because usually children have been taught to play in a designated areas as the classroom is broken into designated areas e.g. block corner, home corner, craft table , and the floor is usually for construction work.
Children usually at a small age like to play with or alongside other children or maybe just to stay close to the source (blocks)


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?

Yes you're on the right track with your response. You can also include that educators insist on keeping activities within the boundaries for safety reasons (reduce objects scattered on the floor which can cause falls). It also enables children to interact in small groups as only a couple of children will be able to build at a time.

Q) if a childs develops a keen sense of rhythm, describe 2 expereiences or activities that you would program to further develop these skills or ability.
this is the sencond part of a question.

my answer is:
put more music in my program planing
involove and encourage the child what he would like to participate in these activities but putting his favourite song on.
