Hi guys,
Looking for some help. I have a brand new trainee who is very confident (almost too confident), 18 years old.
She is almost argumentative with Educators when asked to follow directions and is not using appropriate language with the children.
She is refusing or dodging nappies where ever possible as well.
I am wondering if anyone has a "cheat sheet" of language to use with children. I could make one obviously but I am seeking to sort this out today.
How do you guide someone who is showing a lot of resistance/over riding authority?

Hi,
Well you gotta love the enthusiasm! It will take time but she will learn! As for language to use with children, this may help:
Encouraging Phrases For Children
Over the weekend I could create an article on Positive Language To Use Around Children or something along those lines, if it helps!
