Post by Louisaa » Tue Nov 10, 2015 4:29 pm

Hi,
Could someone please give me an example of the best way to write a 'learning story' observation? How to start one also?

Many thanks! :)

How does the centre your at write them? Its best to base it off their system of writing. I personally tell the story of what happened, what the child said (quotes) and most importantly Why is this important/significant Learning stories are about the child growing and learning, it shows their development, talk about their progress and why its significant (such as a child taking their first steps or and older child sharing for the first time, Make it to the point, clear, and personal.
Dont forget to link to the framework and explain WHY you choose to input that certain part of the EYLF but incorporating in the paragraph or after the quoted EYLF.
