Evolving Trend in Quality Area 4 - Staffing Arrangements

Post by Ava Angel » Wed Feb 03, 2016 12:58 pm

A description of the evolving trend according to NQS quality area no.4 staffing arrangements.
Children numbers change daily and therefore educators must adapt to the number of children by ensuring enough educators are in care for the correct ratio's for the particular age group.
Birth - 2yrs old = 1:5
2yrs old - 3 yrs old = 1:10

How recent developments in this could be used to improve current practice?
by ensuring children have sufficient care at all times to bring out the best in their daily education and care.

how to plan to keep abreast with future developments in this area as they evolve?
ensure I have had exposure to all levels of care at the centre so that I can step into any role when in need and know I will be able to offer the best care and education for the required ratio's.

IS THIS RIGHT?
