Emergency Evacuation Plans

Post by Pinkanat » Wed Dec 14, 2016 1:18 pm

Q: Develop an Emergency Evacuation Plan for your service including a floor plan which identifies safe routes and exits.

What do I use to develop the plan, I've tried looking for WHS guidelines, fire safety on acecqua, surely there are regulations on how many fire exits and extinguishers there need to be and where to locate them and stuff?

When I had to develop an Emergency Evacuation Plan, I obtained a copy of the service's floor plan that I was volunteering at and went from there. Pg 100 of the Early Childhood Educator for Certificate 3 provides an evacuation plan that could assist you. I hope this helps :)
