What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Anecdotals observations are directly observed occurences that are clearly and concisely written nonjudgment manner in the past tense.

Learning stories what the child can do rather than what the child can't do.


Running records are factual , detailed written account over a span of tome

Hi Possum 20,
there are also checklists, photo observations, running records each have there pros and cons.....
