Hi,
Could anyone please tell me that is this the right answer for this question?
Thanks
Scenario:
Claudia arrives in the morning with Seth, 2 years old and he joins the children in play. At morning tea he seems quiet and withdrawn, he doesn’t eat much and says he’s tired. The educator places him down for an early nap. He awakes shortly after, looking red and flushed and crying. He says he has a sore head, is now coughing frequently.
a)What symptoms of illness do you observe and how should this be recorded?
a. I have observed that Seth is looking red and flushed and crying. He says he has a sore head and he is now coughing frequently . I will check temperature regularly and record as per service policy. So I will complete the illness record form ,and will provide parents with a copy of it as well.

Yes, you will need to record Seth's temperature and the time. It's also best to lay him down away from other children while you contact his parents to come and pick him up from the service. You will also need to feel in an "illness" record which records his symptoms, his temperature etc.
Hope this helps,
