Your Question?
1 What do the words “duty of care” mean?
2 List two ways you could demonstrate as an educator ethical work practices by acting morally and upholding beliefs and values of the service?
3 Explain what are the client’s rights?
4 What considerations should be taken in to account when reporting unethical behaviour.
5 List the health and safety policies or procedures relevant to your workplace/placement.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
1 What do the words “duty of care” mean?
Awareness of responsibilities and obligation that u have towards children in your care.
Examples:
• Positive learning environment
• Good quality food
• Provide safe environment
• Provide privacy
• Provide supervision

2 List two ways you could demonstrate as an educator ethical work practices by acting morally and upholding beliefs and values of the service?
Not sure on this one

3 Explain what are the client’s rights?
*The right to privacy
*The right to access all information held about themselves by the service
*The right to confidentiality
*The right to be treated with respect and dignity and to have their social, cultural and physical needs met
*The right to informed choice
*The right to complain about the service being received
*The right to be informed about the service, policy, procedures, expectations and rules of the service.

4 What considerations should be taken in to account when reporting unethical behaviour.
I don't have any answers so far for this one, but I am looking to be pointed in the right direction.

5 List the health and safety policies or procedures relevant to your workplace/placement.
