On November 22nd, a two-year-old was allegedly bitten by a snake at a Queensland early childhood service.
The toddler did not exhibit any signs of having been injected with venom but did have what seemed to be snake bite marks on their hand.
Following reports of the snake encounter, Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that they were summoned to the Kidz at the Beach daycare on Tracey St. in Bowen.
It’s believed the snake was found on the child at the Kidz At The Beach childcare centre, according to the Townsville Bulletin.
The snake's species was not identified by paramedics, but was described it as "brown," "venomous," and roughly 40 centimetres long.
According to 7NEWS, Mackay Hospital and Health Services confirmed the child had been discharged from the hospital.
