CHCIC301D - Assist children to implement suggestions and ideas

Post by cazza44 » Thu Jan 03, 2013 3:14 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCIC301D Interact effectively with children
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
How can you assist a child to plan and implement their suggestions and ideas

I have tried to answer this question and was wondering if on right track

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Could see what we needed and then look through magazines and cut out pictures of the ideas and then paste them on to a piece of paper.
Could get photocopies of their suggestions and ideas and then get the child to either paste pictures of the idea on to the picture or they could colour in the picture.
I would ask the children what we needed to implement the activity and ask them for ideas on how we could plan it.

Yeah, you got the right idea. Instead of turning a child’s suggestion into an art and craft activity, maybe you could also find the necessary materials or equipment to add into the indoor/outdoor environment or if you don’t have the necessary materials you can plan if for another day. Don’t forget to add it into the program.
