I am stuck with the following things and i just cant get my mind to work, lol

TASK 1 - You are getting late children settled with Scott before a staff meeting and you overhear one of your staff members talking to another staff member and talking about one of the children and that there was a possible separation between her parents.

QUESTION 1: Is this ethical and which code of ethics guidelines would assist you and how??

Is this the early childhood australia code of ethics?? or something else??


TASK 2 - The room leader is going on holidays & Nikki has asked you to be responsible for the program while she was away.

QUESTION 2: Based upon this (does it fit your job description as an untrained carer) what would your response be to Nikki, what issues would you need to discuss and agree upon.

For that i have that i would ask her to fill in the program for the children and make sure she was contactable during her month away. What else can i include??

TASK 4 - Report indications of possible risk of significant harm; this one is about Jen and her new partner Ian who has been living with her for 3 months, there is changes in behaviour in both children along with some bruising etc etc

QUESTION 1: What are the legal requirements you need to comply with and how would you monitor the situation while ensuring confidentiality and who could you discuss this with??

I have that i could discuss it with the child care service director an the rest my brain wont kick in and work.

QUESTION 2: follow the centres and Docs protocol and make a report and outline my reasons for concern.

??? Need some ideas
