Trainee Making An Incident/Injury Report

Can a trainee make incident/ injury report in child care.
and can she administor the medication???

Hi Shazia S,

I don't see why not as long as it is checked or you do it with a staff member, otherwise how else are you going to learn.
Medication I am not sure of, but if you have a staff member standing beside you when you do it and make sure it is done right, checks everything it shouldn't be a problem.

If you witnessed an accident or an injury then you should write the report since you were the one to observe it. Like Linsaa mentioned, you would probably get the room leader to co-sign it with you. The same goes for the medication as well!
