rewarding a child

Post by sahana » Sat Nov 14, 2015 11:04 pm

Hi can anybody help me with question please
Read the following scenario and response to the following questions: i. Is it rewarding the child’s inappropriate child’s behaviour? ii. Give a reason for your answer.
Nikita (3 years 5 months) held the door open as the children came inside. As the last child came through the door Naomi, her Educator, smiled and thanked her. The Educator then asked her where she would like to sit.

I would say yes it is appropriate to reward Nikita because he waited for other children to come inside... is this right answer ,i am on right track?

thank you
sahana
