Scenario: Hilde - Toilet Training

Hilde is 2.3 years old. She is toulet traning and is increasingly becoming aware of the desire to toilet herself. Jodie has been an integral pa4ticipant in making this process easier for hilde. Commencing toilet training jodie provided much assistance to hilde from the beginning. She spent time talking to her to explain what was happening and encurrageing her to understand the processes involved in toeto g herself. Over time hilde has been able to develop the a ility to tell when she needs to go to the toilet. She can pull her pants down and shuffle onto the toilet back words. Jodie still provides assistance to wipe her bottom after empthying her bowels, Dress her aelf and wash he r hands. Today jodie is assisting another child with toilet traning and hilde hops off the toilet and pull up her pants. Slowing and little bit a time. "I did it jodie". She calls. "You are a o clever." I wil be able to help you wash your hands.

"Can you turn the tap on hilde"? Asks jodie. Hilde shake her head and keep her hands held under the tap. " what if i start it for you. Then may be you could turn it on" jodie turns the tap slightly to loosen it and hilde turns the tap, the wayer comes out. Hilde looks up and smile at joide. "You can do it" says joide. "Now kets get the soap and wash all the berms off"

1.Joide has spent time with hilde and talk with him regarding the toiletting process. She explaning him to whole process and encurrage her to understand the process. Undrstand his capability level Help him to do it step by step.

2. Appriciate hilde works done by him self and encurrage him to contine

3. Guide him to do process by step by step Ask him to do it by him self .


3. Joide understand hilde level of capabiliy and allow him to do some steps by him self. Support him to make the step more easier with out doing whole proces ( when hilde go to wash his hand. Guide him from 1st step to last and support him to loose the tap woth out fully on. )
