Casual pay per hr

Post by allie2192 » Mon May 11, 2015 4:08 pm

I've just got a casual job in childcare which I'll be starting in about a month's time. I'm in Queensland and over 21. I've looked on google but a bit confused with the pay rate per hr.

I won't be qualified when I start, but was just wondering what my pay per hour would be. Also about a month later I will be qualified with my diploma, how much would my pay rise to then.

TIA

For a Diploma qualified casual the minimum wage $28.91/per hour as a casual classified as Level 4.1. If you are untrained without any former qualifications your casual minimum wage will be $22.39/per hour as a Level 2.1. You can find more info here:

Hope this helps,
