Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: educators rights and responsibilities
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
there is 3 parts to this question
1 - describe 3 rights that educators have working within early childhood education and care services.
2 - describe 3 responsibilities educators have working within early childhood education and care services ( 1 being duty of care)
3 - describe 1 of the principles ( components of duty of care and the strategies you would embed in your practice as an educator to ensure children remained safe while under your care?)

For Q1 maybe something like:

Workplace Regulations - laws that keep everyone safe and reduce hazards and manage risks (policies and procedures & NQS) - http://aecsl.org.au/wp-content/uploads/ ... ations.pdf
Employment Conditions: outlines the duties, rights and responsibilities of employers and employees - http://www.airc.gov.au/awardmod/awards/MA000120.pdf
Further Education - http://www.acecqa.gov.au/educators-and- ... ifications

For Q2 and Q3:

http://www.earlychildhoodaustralia.org. ... de-ethics/

Hope this gives you a starting point,

How would you research 'rights and responsibilities of workers' in an Early Education and Care Service?

- ECA Code Of Ethics
- Workplace Health and Safety Regulations
- Early Childhood Services Regulations and Law

Quality Area 3- Physical Environment

Element 3.2.1

Inclusive environment

Outdoor and indoor spaces are organised and adapted to support every child's participation and to engage every child in quality experiences in both built and natural environments.

1. Describe the frameworks and tools the service uses to identify areas for improvement.
2. How does the service document their plan for improvement?

Hi, Lorena,
Can you help me with these questions pls??
Thank u

You have to go through NQS - Quality Area 3 and see what needs to be included in order to achieve this.

Plan of improvement can be documented As part of self assessment or an action plan etc.
