Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCRF301E Work effectively with families to care for the child
Your Assignment Type: Case Scenario
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Free Spirits
Zi and Trish (2 yr old twins) don't have any routines - 'they sleep when they and where they want to and eat when they are hungry. The twins parents want the children to be free spirits. The twins have found it difficult to adjust to the child care routines.

1. Identify the likely differences beliefs/ practices that may create tension

2. Describe what action (if any) the educator could/should take

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have answered the questions but am not sure if I am on the right track

1. Zi and Trish routines make it difficult as they sleep and eat when they want

2. The educator could speak to the parents and explain to them that the children need to have routines

Yes, you're on the right track with your response... Routines also support children with their growth and development...
